Women of 4D offers single mothers an opportunity to apply for the Endless Possibilities Education Award. The award committee will select the recipient(s) who best exemplify Women of 4D’s core mission — to be Deliberate, Determined, Devoted, and Disciplined.
About the Award
Our competitive award is designed to support single mothers striving for academic excellence and higher potential. Through this investment, we aim to empower and encourage the educational pursuits of single mothers in Virginia.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this award, applicants must meet the following criteria at the time of application submission:
Status
- Be a single mother
- Be a resident of Virginia
Education
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or specialized trade program
- Enroll either part-time or full-time
Qualifications
- Exhibit leadership skills through volunteer positions and/or work experience
- Maintain good academic standing with minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Have at least two semesters remaining in the accredited program
Submission Requirement
- Complete a required essay (minimum 500 words)
