LaToya R. Ntlabati, MS, APRN, PMHBP-BC
Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

LaToya has experience and training treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. Some of her practice specialties include (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, bipolar, ADHD and PTSD. She maintains an evidence-based, holistic and comprehensive focus on care, including psychotherapy and prescribing psychotropic medications if indicated, to treat the whole person with the latest research. She believes in the mind, body and spiritual connection.

 

LaToya began her medical career in the US Navy, as a Navy Nurse Corps Officer, after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. It was there she discovered the mid body connection and the importance of bridging the gaps in medical and mental health care. After noticing disparities and barriers in access to care, she decided to continue her education. LaToya received a Master of Science in Nursing - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Virginia Commonwealth University.

 

Her ongoing areas of interest include integrative medicine, neuroscience, substance abuse and trauma. Her hobbies include traveling, writing, recording her podcast and outreach. She currently resides in Virginia with her husband and three children.
