Ready, Set, Grow

As I grow in maturity, I seek opportunities to become a student.  I am a student of life, people, God, self, and experience.

I read a lot of material on leadership and influence, but always question “what if a person has not reached that level.”  Mediocracy, complacency, stagnation, and containment are weapons of destruction.  They “protect” many of us and serve as blinders of potential, purpose, and progress.  If you don’t kill them it is only a matter of time before they kill you.

It is imperative to take inventory of your atmosphere.  Study yourself and identify the areas you have unfinished business.  Refine the unfinished areas, evaluate your capacity, and understand the power within you.

Strategize the desired outcome for the pages of your story – focus, set targets, and go. Ask yourself, if I were a book would I be worth reading or would I just take up room on a shelf?

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:  The old has gone, the new is here (2 Corinthians 5:17)!”

Until we meet again, remember the possibilities are endless.
